Your Journey to a Perfect Ceremony

Planning your wedding is an exciting and meaningful journey, and I am here to guide you every step of the way. Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or ready to make it official, I’m committed to making your ceremony personal, memorable, and stress-free.

Let's Meet – No Obligation

The first step is to arrange a meeting—either at my office or another suitable location. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your vision for the ceremony, and see if I’m the right celebrant for you. There is no obligation at this stage, but if you decide to proceed, it’s helpful to bring certain documents:

  • Your birth certificates

  • If you’ve been married before: divorce decree or death certificate

This ensures that we have everything ready in case you choose to move forward.

The Legal Process – Making it Official

If you decide to proceed, we will complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form together. This legal document must be lodged at least one calendar month before your wedding date. At this time, I will also need to sight original copies of your required documents. If you only have photocopies, I recommend contacting the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages to obtain certified originals.

Crafting Your Unique Ceremony

Every love story is unique, and your ceremony should reflect that. I will work closely with you to create a personalized script, incorporating your preferences, traditions, and special touches.

  • Draft Ceremony: You’ll receive a full draft at least six weeks before the wedding.

  • Unlimited Revisions: We can make adjustments via email, phone, or in-person meetings until it’s exactly as you envision.

  • Rehearsal: About two weeks before the wedding, we’ll meet—preferably at the venue—to finalize the flow, positioning, and details with your bridal party.

The Big Day – A Stress-Free Experience

On the day of your wedding, I will arrive one hour early to set up my PA system, signing table, and chairs. I’ll ensure everything is in place, welcome early guests, and help keep the atmosphere calm and relaxed.

During the ceremony:
✨ You will sign three official documents:

  1. The Marriage Certificate (which I submit to the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages)

  2. My Marriage Register (a legal record I am required to keep)

  3. Your Marriage Certificate (a keepsake for you)

Post-Ceremony – Lodging Your Marriage

The next business day after your wedding, I will lodge all required documents with the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages. If you require an official certified copy of your marriage certificate for legal purposes (e.g., name change), I can assist in the application process.

Jackie went above and beyond! She crafted a ceremony that felt personal and heartfelt. We couldn’t have asked for more.
